In-House maintenance:
All maintenance of the UMS gas engines is done in-house by Bigplanes. This also includes a warranty service. Bigplanes has over 45 years of gas engine maintenance experience and as such can perform the maintenance at a very high level. We have all tools available to perform the maintenance needed like measuring the cylinder pressure, thrust, fuel consumption, ignition, wire and sensor testing, temperature check of each cylinder and an overall engine check by using thermal imaging etc..
All maintenance is done using a robust engine Test-Bench with a metal protective safety cage for the propellor.
