Power Distribution

Power distribution systems of 42 percent contain all features to supply your model (read receiver, servos etc.) with sufficient power.

BigPlanes selected the power distribution systems from 42 percent because they contain all functions needed and because they are affordable.

 
  

The prime functions of a power distribution system are:

  • being able to connect many high power servos (read high current)
  • being able to connect 2 batteries to support big currents
  • Increased reliability by using double batteries, double switches and double power wiring
  • being able to use long wires (up to 10meter) towards the servos
  • being able to control multiple servos using a single receiver channel. No Y-cables needed

The 15A voltage regulator is a switch-mode DC-DC regulator. This regulator is very suitable for big fixed-wing aircrafts because it can supply a huge current and it contains dual input and output terminals for improved reliability.

Input and output connectors are of type JR.

The 15A voltage regulator is a switch-mode DC-DC regulator. This regulator is very suitable for big fixed-wing aircrafts because it can supply a huge current and it contains DEANS input and output terminals for improved reliability.

This SKYRC linear voltage regulator is able to deliver 10A (15A peak) from a 2S LiPo/LiFe battery. It also contains a low voltage monitor to protect the LiPo battery.  Suitable for models upto 30 cc.

 

  • Selectable output voltage: 5.2V 6.0V 6.8V 7.4V (and low voltage monitor).
  • Input voltage range from 6V Min to 8.4V Max.
  • Pin-Flag power switch with ultra bright super flux LED allows you to turn the BEC output power on or off remotely and gives low voltage warning.
